     Welcome to the world of Adventure Components - better known by our familiar trademark above.  We have been around for over 10 years as racing has evolved from the BMX track of the 80's to the downhill and dual slalom courses of the 90's. BMX racing has never lost its excitement for those who love to sprint around a track with power, speed, and daring. It's the NASCAR of cycling. Some of the best racers - like Wade Bootes, Eric Carter, Brian Lopes, and Mike King - can trace their championship NORBA and UCI skills to BMX racing in their youth. 

    Racing is AC's pedigree - we have always enjoyed building parts that bring out folk's competitive spirit . While different design fads have come and gone over the years, what remains is the need for really solid components that are as strong as we can possibly make them within racing component weight limitations. We've broken a lot of prototype parts that were pushed beyond their limit - 'cuz it's fun to discover just where that limit is. Umm...isn't that why they invented helmets , pads, and gauze?
